Neither Pedro Porro nor Destiny Udogie were seen taking part in Tottenham Hotspur training ahead of their Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Ange Postecoglou's squad swapped Hotspur Way for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday, allowing supporters to get a glimpse of the Lilywhites in action during an open training session.

Spurs trained at their home ground five days on from their pulsating 2-1 comeback win over Brighton & Hove Albion, which saw Postecoglou's men rise back into the top four of the Premier League table.

The Lilywhites now hold a one-point advantage over Aston Villa thanks to Manchester United's beating of the Lions on February 11, and victory over Wolves would represent their sixth in a row at home in the Premier League.

However, Postecoglou appears to have been handed two fresh concerns prior to the meeting with Gary O'Neil's side, as full-back duo Porro and Udogie were both absent from the session.

The pair have cemented themselves as Tottenham's first-choice full-backs since Postecoglou took the reins, and both took to the field from the first whistle in last weekend's beating of Brighton.

Udogie was unable to complete the full 90 against the Seagulls, leading Postecoglou to admit he was not sure whether the defender was just suffering from cramp or something more sinister.

"No I don't think so. Destiny went off but I'm not sure if it was cramp, but everyone else was OK as far as I know," Postecoglou said at his post-game press conference when asked if any fresh injury concerns arose last weekend.

However, according to Spurs insider Paul O Keefe, Udogie has not been able to complete a full training session this week due to his unspecified injury, which will require assessment in the coming hours to determine his availability for the weekend.

Meanwhile, Porro is understood to be nursing a muscular concern and is also touch-and-go for the weekend, where Emerson Royal and Ben Davies will be drafted into the Tottenham rearguard if necessary.

While Udogie and Porro might yet make themselves available for the weekend, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon are definitely out for the Lilywhites as they recuperate from knee and thigh problems respectively.

Giovani Lo Celso completed Spurs' trio of absentees against Brighton with his own thigh problem, but he had returned to training prior to last weekend's win and was spotted in Thursday's open session too.

Backup goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman also trained, suggesting that the Englishman has made a full recovery from his serious ankle injury, but current number two Fraser Forster was nowhere to be seen.

Tottenham head into Saturday's fixture having been beaten in their last two Premier League clashes with Wolves, who ran out 2-1 winners at Molineux in November, but the Lilywhites have never suffered three successive top-flight losses to the West Midlands outfit. body check tags ::
