Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has expressed his delight with his team's League Cup fourth-round victory over Hull City.
The North London side triumphed on penalties at White Hart Lane after the match had finished 2-2 after 120 minutes of football.
It was an equaliser from Harry Kane that forced spot kicks after a Brad Friedel own goal and a Paul McShane header had cancelled out Gylfi Sigurdsson's 16th-minute opener.
"We've seen some brilliant, brilliant football tonight," the Portuguese coach told Sky Sports News.
"If you want to see predictable endings or happy endings you go to the opera or the theatre. In football you don't know what is going to happen.
"I couldn't be happier."
Spurs will play West Ham United in the quarter-finals.
