Benjamin Stambouli has hailed his Tottenham Hotspur teammates for producing a "perfect performance" to beat Newcastle United 4-0 on Wednesday.
Spurs booked their place in the semi-final of the Capital One Cup by thumping the Magpies at White Hart Lane.
Nabil Bentaleb fired them into a half-time lead, before Nacer Chadli, Harry Kane and Roberto Soldado added emphasis, and Stambouli is thrilled that they struck a perfect balance between defence and attack.
"I think it was a perfect performance. We were focused on our opponents, we had that willingness to score and it came naturally," he told BBC Sport.
"It is never easy even if you are winning 2-0, but we focused on our defending and then our attackers took their chances.
"All the club and all the fans are very happy. We will do our best to win this trophy."
The Lilywhites face League One outfit Sheffield United in a last-four tie in January, while Chelsea will battle Liverpool for a place in the final.
