West Ham United made the short journey across London to White Hart Lane earlier today to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Spurs had lost their last two league matches on home soil - to Chelsea and Wigan Athletic. They had not lost three in a row since September 2008.

Dawson makes his first Premier League start since February - and he captains Spurs.
Emmanuel Adebayor begins his three-match suspension and is replaced in attack by Defoe, who has scored in four of his last seven games against the Hammers.
Lloris keeps his place in goal following his man-of-the-match display in Thursday night's 0-0 draw with Lazio. Meanwhile, Dembele, who has not featured in a Premier League game since October 7, is likely to make an appearance as a second-half substitute.
West Ham's starting XI is unchanged from Monday night's 1-1 draw with Stoke City.
Yossi Benayoun remains on the sidelines with a side strain, but winger Matt Jarvis returns to the squad after overcoming a shin injury.
West Ham have failed to score in five of their last seven Premier League games against Spurs.
The sky above White Hart Lane is overcast, with light drizzle expected for the duration of the match. The pitch is in excellent condition and the moist surface should play right into the hands of the hosts' passing game.

Dempsey plays a lofted through ball over the top to Defoe, who cuts in onto his right foot before firing high and wide from 20 yards.
Vertonghen plays a neat one-two with Bale down the left before firing in a low cross to Defoe, whose touch is poor allows Reid to clear.
Sandro wins the ball back in his own half and then plays in Defoe, but the England striker's shot is tame and easily held by Jaaskelainen.
Bale turns away from O'Brien and is hacked down by the Hammers right-back. The referee correctly issues a yellow card and Spurs have a free-kick on the left touchline, in line with the edge of the 18-yard box.
Bale's cross is headed away by Carroll to Huddlestone, who volleys wide from the edge of the area.
Spurs hit the woodwork! Bale loses his balance, but manages to get a fierce shot away from 25 yards. It thunders back off the underside of the crossbar. Dempsey gets to the rebound, but his header is comfortably held by Jaaskelainen.

What a goal! Defoe receives the ball tight on the right touchline near the halfway line. He then embarks on a superb solo run, before unleashing a power finish, which beats Jaaskelainen at his near post from 25 yards.

Spurs deserve their lead at the break. Dawson and Caulker have been solid and composed at the back, while Bale and Defoe have shown glimpses of attacking brilliance.
Spurs have registered 12 shots, compared to West Ham's four. Four of the hosts' attempts have been on target, while the Hammers have hit the target just once.
Tottenham have dominated possession with 58 percent and both sides have had one corner kick so far.

Sandro wins possession just inside his own half. He then finds Dempsey, who slides the ball into the path of Lennon. Lennon evades the challenge of Tomkins and is through on goal. He squares the ball to Defoe, who passes it into the net from close range.

West Ham look like a beaten side now. Meanwhile, Spurs are zipping the ball about beautifully and I would not be surprised if they added to their lead.

Dempsey, who has had a very good game today, finds Walker on the overlap. The England full-back smashes the ball into the sidenetting. With three players in the middle, he definitely should have passed there.

Carroll gets up and meets O'Brien's deep cross with a looping header, which goes over the head of Lloris and dips in at the far post.
That is Carroll's first goal this season and his first in the Premier League since April 10.
Sandro injures himself in the act of tackling Diame. The Brazilian is then stretchered off and replaced by Jake Livermore.
Spurs go close! Jaaskelainen makes a superb double save to deny Defoe and Bale.
