Tottenham Hotspur forward Emmanuel Adebayor has said that he is focused on helping the club win their upcoming league fixtures and is not thinking about their Europa League match with Benfica.
The Lilywhites set up a last-16 tie with the Portuguese league leaders after coming from behind to beat Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk 3-1 on Thursday evening.
Tim Sherwood's side face Cardiff and Chelsea in the Premier League before returning to European action, and Adebayor is determined not to let it distract them in their attempts to secure a fourth-placed finish.
"I'm not thinking about Benfica yet," he told the club's official website. "I'm thinking about Cardiff and Chelsea, then Benfica. Right now, my head is on Cardiff on Sunday.
"We're playing well and playing for a place in the Champions League, Cardiff are playing to survive. They will be up for it and we have to want it more."
Spurs are currently fifth in the Premier League table.
