Tottenham Hotspur's forgotten man Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed that his exile from first-team training was ended on Monday.
The Togolese striker has not been named in any of Andre Villas-Boas's squads this season, and had been made to practise with the club's youth team upon returning from compassionate leave.
Roberto Soldado, a £26m summer arrival from Valencia, has been leading the Spurs attack, with Jermain Defoe, who has scored six goals in cup competitions, providing the Spaniard with some competition. However, it now appears that Adebayor could be back in first-team reckoning.
He wrote on Twitter: "Hey guys, today was my first day back training with the first team. Good to be back and feeling good! Have a great day everyone!"
The 29-year-old only found the net five times in the Premier League last term after turning his prolific loan spell from Manchester City into a permanent deal.
