Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Anderlecht striker Dieumerci Mbokani, according to the player's agent.
The Congolese forward attracted the attention of several top European clubs with a 15-goal haul last season after he joined Anderlecht as a replacement for the departed Romelu Lukaku, who signed for Chelsea in an £18m deal.
Mbokani's representative, Fabio Baglio, has revealed that Juventus are in pole position to capture the 26-year-old, but has claimed that there is also interest from the Premier League in the shape of Spurs.
"Juventus is most concrete suitor for Mbokani. Their interest is not new, because they followed 'Dieu' when he still played at Standard Liege," Baglio told Het Nieuwsblad.
"During this summer Juventus came forward late for him, but in the meantime there were contacts between Anderlecht and Juventus.
"I don't know if Anderlecht could sell him in January, but there are many candidates. There is Fiorentina, which is building a new team, and in England Tottenham is the most interested player."
Spurs currently only have two senior strikers on their books - Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor.
