Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale is confident that his side can get a positive result when they travel to Manchester City today.
The Welshman was involved last season, scoring a dramatic equaliser at the Etihad Stadium before Spurs succumbed to a last-minute penalty.
City are the only unbeaten team in the Premier League but Bale thinks that Spurs can still come out on top.
"This is another big game," he told the club's official website. "We went there last season, gave them a run for their money and probably should have won, but it wasn't to be.
"We'll go back up there full of confidence after playing well against Maribor.
"We know it will be difficult and we'll give it our all. We've played well away, we'll prepare right and hopefully get the right result."
Spurs take on Manchester City at 1.30pm today.
