Sebastien Bassong has insisted that he made the right to decision to swap Tottenham Hotspur for Norwich City during the summer transfer window.
The Cameroon international found himself on the fringes of the Spurs squad last season and spent part of the campaign on loan with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, having joined the Canaries on a permanent basis, the 26-year-old has gone on to earn a number of plaudits for his performances this year. He has also weighed in with a couple of goals, despite being a defender.
"It makes a big difference for a player, especially somebody like me and my body," he told talkSPORT. "I need to play week in, week out to get the best out of me.
"I've no regrets about leaving Tottenham. I am enjoying my time here and the results are good for us.
"The people around me at the club, the fans as well are lovely, so I am really happy to be here. I hope I can keep on scoring and helping to win games for Norwich."
Norwich parted with a reported £4m to take Bassong to Carrow Road.
