Nacer Chadli has praised Tottenham Hotspur's battling spirit following his side's 1-1 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The 25-year-old fired Spurs into a second-half lead in the North London derby this evening, only for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to salvage a point for the hosts 15 minutes from time.
"I'm very happy to score in the derby," Chadli told Sky Sports News. "Erik [Lamela] gave me the ball and I just tried to shoot into the far corner.
"We defended well and with the pace we have we could cause Arsenal problems. As a team we fought for each other and that is important for the team spirit. We have one point at the Emirates and that is not bad."
Mauricio Pochettino's side now turn their attention to Europa League action, with the visit of Besiktas on Thursday night.
