Ben Davies has revealed that he is looking forward to his first season in a Tottenham Hotspur shirt ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The 21-year-old made his White Lane debut at the weekend in Spurs' 2-1 win over Schalke 04, replacing Danny Rose at half time.
The former Swansea City defender, who sealed his switch to North London in a swap deal for Gylfi Sigurdsson, is now looking forward to Saturday's curtain raiser with West Ham United.
"We're looking forward to it [the Premier League season]," he told the club's official website.
"We're on a high after pre-season and hopefully we can go there and get off to a positive start.
"It was great to get out on the pitch for the first time and we were really appreciative of the reception. It was a real honour to play in front of the home crowd and I'm glad we got the win."
Saturday's clash at Upton Park is scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
