England striker Jermain Defoe has been ruled out of Tottenham Hotspur's next three games with a muscular injury.
The 30-year-old has scored 14 goals in 38 games for the club this season, but has struggled since the turn of the year with a succession of injuries.
He returned to the bench in the last few weeks, but a muscular injury has now ruled him out of Spurs' next three matches.
The London outfit face Basel in the Europa League on Thursday before welcoming Everton in the Premier League this Sunday. The second leg of the European clash against Basel then follows on April 11.
