Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has withdrawn from the England squad for Tuesday's friendly against Switzerland with a muscular problem.
Alli played the full 90 minutes as England suffered a 2-1 defeat to Spain in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday night.
The midfielder picked up "a minor muscle strain" against La Roja, however, and has now returned to Tottenham for treatment.
"An update ahead of today's training session: Dele Alli has withdrawn from the squad due to a minor muscle strain picked up on Saturday," read a statement from England.
"He'll return to Tottenham for further treatment, with no further additions to the Three Lions squad planned."
Alli now faces a race to be fit for Tottenham's Premier League clash with Liverpool this weekend.
