Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that Clint Dempsey will miss his side's crunch North London derby with Arsenal on Sunday due to injury.
The American has been suffering from a calf injury, and missed Spurs' 3-2 victory against West Ham United at Upton Park on Monday.
The former Fulham forward will now miss the fixture with the Gunners, and could be out of action for up to a fortnight.
"He has a calf strain, so I think he will be out maybe one week or two weeks," said Villas-Boas.
The 29-year-old has scored eight goals for Spurs this season.
