Versatile Tottenham Hotspur man Eric Dier has admitted that he is happy to play in a number of positions for his club.
The 21-year-old - who joined Spurs from Sporting Lisbon in August 2014 - has played both in defence and midfield under head coach Mauricio Pochettino, and Dier suggests that he can switch between positions comfortably.
"It's good [playing in midfield], but I'm comfortable playing in both positions," Dier told the Football Association's official website.
"Last year was my first in the Premier League and I played at right-back, centre-back and in midfield.
"I've played in midfield with Spurs and felt I've done well, and these last two [England Under-21s] games have been at the back. But I think I can slip in and out of both positions quite comfortably."
Dier has made 41 appearances for Spurs, scoring three goals.
