Tottenham Hotspur assistant manager Steffen Freund has admitted that Emmanuel Adebayor is not happy with life at White Hart Lane this season.
Adebayor has struggled for form and fitness since signing a permanent deal at Spurs this summer.
Freund believes that it is natural for a player of Adebayor's quality to be frustrated with a place on the substitutes bench.
He told reporters: "If you're not playing and you're injured then of course you are not happy.
"He is one of the best strikers in the Premier League. We are happy to have him back here.
"We need every Tottenham Hotspur player. If Andre Villas-Boas wants to rotate or change the position up front, it's good to have every player fit."
Freund also revealed that the Togolese forward is struggling for fitness ahead of Wednesday's League Cup tie against Norwich City with a stomach bug.
