Tottenham Hotspur defender William Gallas believes that the North London side are potential Premier League title challengers.

Harry Redknapp's team are third in the league table, seven points below leaders Manchester City.

"We have the look of the champion," The Times quote Gallas as saying. "I have won trophies and I know what it feels like to win and it is quite possible to do something here too.

"You play for success, you play to lift yourselves, so now we have to believe in ourselves, work hard to try and catch City. It is very wonderful to see how we play and we can win every game.

"But we should not forget that City are on top and Arsenal are back. It is very important to show again what we can do this season."

Spurs' next league clash is against Bolton Wanderers at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
