Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane could reportedly make his return to action against Wolverhampton Wanderers after travelling with the team for Sunday's game.
The England captain was not deemed ready to face Manchester City on the opening weekend of the Premier League but rejoined team training ahead of Thursday's Europa Conference League clash with Pacos de Ferreira.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo opted against taking Kane to Portugal as Spurs suffered a 1-0 defeat in their playoff tie first leg, and he refused to give anything away regarding Kane's involvement this weekend during his pre-match press conference.
Now, Sky Sports News reports that Kane is part of the travelling party for Sunday's clash at Molineux and could therefore be in line for his first appearance of the 2021-22 season.
Manchester City remain interested in striking a deal for the 28-year-old, but Daniel Levy is standing firm on his £150m asking price and is supposedly refusing to accept City's calls as time runs out in the current transfer window.
While Kane may return to action this weekend, Tanguy Ndombele will play no part once again and is now thought to be seeking an exit from the club this month.
