Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone has claimed that he understands why the supporters are finding it "hard" to come to terms with new manager Andre Villas-Boas's style of play.
The former Chelsea boss, who moved to White Hart Lane in the summer, has changed the North London club's system from that of the "gung-ho" style of former coach Harry Redknapp.
"It is hard for the fans," said Huddlestone. "They have watched some good football over the last few years in the gung-ho style.
"Now they must be patient. We're harder to beat but there have been a couple of games recently where we've needed to create more."
Meanwhile, Spurs take on Maribor in the Europa League this evening.
