Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has hit out at the new handball law after it cost his side a win in Saturday's game with Tottenham Hotspur.
Pep Guardiola's side thought they had taken all three points at the Etihad after Gabriel Jesus's last-gasp strike, only for VAR to rule the goal out because it touched defender Aymeric Laporte's arm in the build-up.
The regulation, introduced this season, states that any contact made with the arm or hand in the penalty area that leads to a goal, irrespective of intention, will be penalised.
City return to action next Sunday when they travel to face Eddie Howe's Bournemouth.
