Jose Mourinho would reportedly consider an offer from Tottenham Hotspur should Mauricio Pochettino leave the club.
The 56-year-old was sacked by Manchester United at the end of last year and has since been undertaking media work while he waits to return to a coaching position.
Mourinho has been strongly linked with a return to Real Madrid, with Zinedine Zidane's position as head coach of the capital giants believed to be far from secure.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the Portuguese is also closely monitoring developments at Spurs as he would be interested in a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The report claims that Mourinho has already rejected offers from Benfica and Guangzhou Evergrande as he waits for the right offer to return to the game.
Tottenham have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions, while the apparent turmoil behind the scenes has led to suggestions that Pochettino could walk away from the job.
Mourinho delivered three Premier League titles during his two spells in charge of Chelsea, while the former midfielder won the EFL Cup, Community Shield and Europa League with United.
