Ajax winger Justin Kluivert has criticised the Amsterdam club for allegedly trying to sell him to Tottenham Hotspur without his knowledge.
The 19-year-old, whose father is Netherlands and Barcelona legend Patrick Kluivert, has enjoyed a superb season in the Eredivisie with 10 goals from 27 appearances.
However, the teenager has given an interview in which he was highly critical of Ajax and stressed that he would not be extending his deal at the Amsterdam ArenA, which expires at the end of next season.
"I'm not renewing my contract at Ajax. Too much has happened," Kluivert told Dutch outlet Volkstrant.
"The decreasing morale, lack of confidence, trying to sell me to Tottenham without me knowing.
"I heard about that at the last minute. That says nothing about Ajax, but about the people in the club.
"They do what they want. I get that feeling again, they do what they want."
Kluivert came through the ranks at Ajax and has made 56 senior appearances since his ascent to the senior team, scoring 13 goals and registering 10 assists.
