Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason had admitted that he was "buzzing" after scoring his first Premier League goal in the 3-2 victory over Swansea City at White Hart Lane.
Mason has received praise for his consistent form since breaking into the side earlier this season, but he claims that Wednesday's win was extra special as he found the net for the first time in the league.
"I'm absolutely buzzing," the 23-year-old told the club's website. "I've been waiting a long time for that. To get three points, too, is important.
"I'm over the moon to get a goal in the win. It was important that we were bright in the second half. We've got great character."
Spurs are back in action against Queens Park Rangers in a London derby at Loftus Road this Saturday.
