Everton manager David Moyes has insisted that his side were fully deserving of their late 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Toffees went behind thanks to Clint Dempsey's deflected strike on 75 minutes, but two goals in stoppage time from Steven Pienaar and Nikica Jelavic earned the hosts a dramatic victory at Goodison Park.
"It was the right conclusion," said Moyes.
"The effort and commitment the players showed was terrific. When you get to the 90th minute you think this isn't going to be your day but credit to the boys as they kept going."
The win has lifted Everton up to fourth place in the table.
