Mauricio Pochettino has declared himself "proud" and "satisfied" of his Tottenham Hotspur players after the team remained in the hunt for a Premier League top-four spot.
Spurs bounced back from their deflating FA Cup semi-final exit to Manchester United by grinding out a 2-0 home victory over Watford on Monday night.
Goals from Dele Alli and Harry Kane were enough to earn Tottenham a crucial win that moves them within five points of sealing fourth place and Champions League football for next season.
"I am satisfied with the mentality [of the players]," Pochettino told reporters at full time. "I feel proud of the process.
"After nearly four years here at the club, sharing with the players during four years, another three, another two, I am so proud about the mentality and the commitment that they show.
"Of course we talk about performance, some good days, some not so good days, but I think always trying to give their best and that is why I feel so proud about the team."
Spurs wrap up their 2017-18 league programme with fixtures against West Bromwich Albion, Newcastle United and Leicester City.
