Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened talks with Harry Kane over a new and improved contract.
The England international, who hit 25 Premier League goals last season, revealed last month that he wanted to sign a lifetime contract at Tottenham, who he believes are "in great shape at the moment".
Kane only penned a new five-and-a-half-year contract in February, but according to The Mirror, talks have opened over a pay rise as Tottenham look to increase his basic salary of £50,000 a week.
According to the same report, Kane's weekly packet will more than double once the agreement has been signed, making him the highest-earning player at the club.
The centre-forward, who has not yet scored for Spurs this season, is currently with the England squad ahead of Sunday's 2018 World Cup qualifier with Slovakia.
