Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has claimed that he will be fit to face Liverpool next weekend.
The Dutch international strained his hamstring during Spurs' 5-1 loss to Manchester City two weeks and reports had suggested that he could be ruled out for six weeks.
However, the 28-year-old has received treatment and is ready to face the Reds at White Hart Lane.
"I have been treated intensively by physiotherapist Dick van Toorn," the midfielder told his official website.
"Next weekend seems like no problem to me!" he added.
Van der Vaart was Tottenham's leading goalscorer last season with 13 goals.
