Edin Dzeko scored four goals at White Hart Lane as Manchester City beat Spurs 5-1 to maintain their 100% start to the season.
New City signing Samir Nasri set up two of the Bosnian's goals, also creating City's fourth, which was scored by Sergio Aguero.
Dzeko put City ahead in the 34th minute before heading in to double the lead seven minutes later and give City a two-goal half-time cushion.
He grabbed his hat-trick ten minutes into the second half, slotting home a Yaya Toure cross from close range.
Aguero made it four before Younes Kaboul pulled one back for Spurs, heading in unmarked from a Van der Vaart corner.
A curled effort from Dzeko completed the rout for City in the 93rd minute.
Spurs remain without a point this season while City regain top spot with three wins from three.
