As many as 12 summer signings could make their debuts on Sunday when Tottenham Hotspur visit Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace.
French left-back Florian Marange, who became Palace's ninth pre-season addition on Friday, is in contention for a place in Ian Holloway's squad.
Fellow recent arrivals Neil Alexander, Marouane Chamakh, Elliot Grandin, Kevin Phillips, Jose Campana, Dwight Gayle and Stephen Dobbie are also available, but Jerome Thomas misses out with an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, Roberto Soldado, Nacer Chadli and Paulinho are all expected to start for the visitors, with Etienne Capoue likely to be on the bench.
Spurs will be without Real Madrid target Gareth Bale, who manager Andre Villas-Boas claims is unfit.
However, Villas-Boas's main area of concern is in defence. The Tottenham boss will hand a late fitness test to Jan Vertonghen, who has not featured since damaging his ankle in the 3-1 defeat to Sunderland in the Barclays Asia Trophy on July 24.
Younes Kaboul has also been unable to take full part in pre-season preparations, but the France international should make his first Premier League appearance in over 12 months.
