Paris Saint-Germain are allegedly considering hiring Zinedine Zidane as their new manager should Mauricio Pochettino leave the club.
Despite only taking the reins at the Parc des Princes in January, Pochettino is already being linked with an exit from the French giants after failing to secure Champions League or Ligue 1 glory last term.
The Argentine is thought to be on the shortlist to take over at former club Tottenham Hotspur, although PSG reportedly have no interest in discussing a possible departure so early on in his reign.
However, Le 10 Sport claims that PSG are already making contingency plans should Pochettino end up wanting to leave, with former Real Madrid boss Zidane a leading candidate to take over.
The Frenchman stood down from his Blancos post for the second time at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, and he is understood to want a quick return to another job in management.
Daniel Levy's search for a new Spurs boss took another hit last week as talks with Antonio Conte broke down, but the Lilywhites are thought to be close to appointing Fabio Paratici as their new sporting director. body check tags ::
