Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly narrowed down their list of managerial candidates to a four-man shortlist.
The Lilywhites are currently under the tutelage of former player Ryan Mason, but chairman Daniel Levy is working to find a permanent successor to the recently-sacked Jose Mourinho.
Spurs appear to have lost out on rumoured targets Julian Nagelsmann and Brendan Rodgers, while Erik ten Hag has penned a new deal with Ajax amid links with the Spurs job.
However, The Athletic claims that Ten Hag still features on a four-man shortlist for Spurs' new manager, with Roberto Martinez, Ralf Rangnick and Graham Potter also under consideration.
The report adds that Spurs did also touch base with outgoing Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick, but the 56-year-old is in line to replace Joachim Low as manager of the German national team.
Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic has also emerged as a rumoured candidate for the job in recent days, although a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa in midweek has left Spurs' European hopes in jeopardy.
