The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Tottenham Hotspur eye possible reinforcements.
Spurs were among the biggest spenders during the January transfer window but are expected to be active again in the summer as Jose Mourinho continues to mould his squad.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Thursday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:
Tottenham Hotspur agree fee for Southampton's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg?
Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton have reportedly reached agreements over the transfers of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Kyle Walker-Peters.
After announcing his desire to play for a club competing on the international stage, Hojbjerg has been frequently linked with a switch to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in recent weeks.
Walker-Peters, meanwhile, spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Southampton from Spurs, and the right-back finished the campaign strongly under Ralph Hasenhuttl.
According to Sky Sports News, the two clubs have agreed on a £15m fee for Hojbjerg to make the switch to North London, while the Saints will fork out £12m to keep Walker-Peters on the books at St Mary's permanently.
The report claims that personal terms are yet to be agreed for Hojbjerg and Walker-Peters, but both sides should navigate discussions with relative ease as the two players look forward to signing with their new clubs for the 2020-21 campaign.
Hojbjerg has turned out 134 times for Southampton across all competitions, while Walker-Peters has only managed 24 first-team appearances for Spurs.
Barcelona transfer news: Leicester bid for Trincao, Braithwaite to return to PL, Roberto staying put
Having surrendered the La Liga title to Real Madrid, Barcelona are under pressure to make significant changes to their first-team squad during the off-season.
However, given the financial restraints at Camp Nou, putting together an effective transfer strategy is far harder than it has been in the past.
Aside from the club's big-hitters, it leaves the majority of the senior players open to offers, even at a time when the Catalan giants are attempting to win a sixth Champions League trophy.
Wednesday morning's Barcelona transfer talk news roundup:
Leicester City looking to sign Barcelona youngster Francisco Trincao?
Back in January, Barcelona announced that they had won the race to sign highly-regarded youngster Francisco Trincao from Braga.
While the prospect was allowed to complete the season in Portugal, there has been every expectation that the 20-year-old will be part of Barca's squad for the upcoming campaign.
However, according to The Guardian, Leicester City have indicated that they want to hand the Spanish outfit an opportunity to make a quick profit.
The Foxes are allegedly prepared to spend £45m on the winger, providing that they can initially sign him on a two-year loan deal.
That puts club officials in a position where they can generate a profit of £18m without Trincao having made an appearance for the club.
West Ham United in advanced talks for Barcelona's Martin Braithwaite?
One of the more surprising deals during the January transfer window was former Middlesbrough attacker Martin Braithwaite moving to Camp Nou.
A transfer materialised due to Barcelona requiring a short-term replacement for injured duo Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez.
However, according to reports in Spain, club officials are now happy to part ways with the 29-year-old in the coming weeks.
Despite contributing just one goal from 11 appearances, it is suggested that West Ham United may be willing to shell out £18m on the player's signature.
Braithwaite still has four years remaining on his contract.
Sergi Roberto agent denies Manchester City interest
While rarely being regarded as a first-team regular at Camp Nou, Sergi Roberto remains a key part of the Barcelona squad, partly due to his versatility.
The academy graduate, now 28 years of age, has gone on to make 190 starts and 81 substitute appearances for his boyhood club.
Although there has been talk of a potential switch to Manchester City, agent Josep Maria Orobitg has dismissed suggestions of a transfer away from the La Liga runners-up.
The speculation comes at a time when the Spaniard has just two years remaining on his deal.
