Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Manchester City will be aiming to win their 16th game in a row across all competitions when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Etihad Stadium for Saturday's Premier League showdown.

Pep Guardiola's merciless charges eased to a 3-1 victory over Swansea City in the FA Cup in midweek - a result which saw them break the English record for consecutive victories by a top-flight team.

Ten of City's victories in that run have come in the Premier League, and a win on Saturday would see them temporarily move eight points clear of Manchester United in the race for glory.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Kevin De Bruyne

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: February 27 (vs. West Ham United)

Influential playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has returned to individual training following a hamstring problem, and while Guardiola has affirmed that he is feeling "very good", he will not be ready for this game.

Sergio Aguero

Status: Out
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: Unknown

Sergio Aguero has managed to fight off a bout of coronavirus, but Guardiola is urging caution over his return to the first team. The Argentine is feeling better "day by day" according to his manager, but he is still working his way back to fitness.

Ruben Dias

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: February 13 (vs. Tottenham)

Ruben Dias was nowhere to be seen at the Liberty Stadium in midweek, and Guardiola confirmed that the defender has been suffering from a fever. It remains to be seen if Dias will be given the all-clear to line up in his regular role this weekend.

Rodri

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: February 13 (vs. Tottenham)

Rodri was named in the starting lineup against Swansea, but the Spaniard had to be forced off 20 minutes from time with an unspecified injury. However, Guardiola is hopeful that his midfield lynchpin will be fit for Saturday.

Fernandinho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Fernandinho would have expected to earn some minutes in the FA Cup, but the veteran was unable to take part due to some "niggles" in his quads. The Brazilian has been ruled out of this game, but it would have been a surprise to see him start either way.

Nathan Ake

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: Unknown

Nathan Ake has endured a prolonged absence from the side due to a muscular problem, and the Dutchman is unlikely to feature against Tottenham this weekend.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man City have no players suspended for this crunch match with Tottenham.
