Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has confirmed that Rodrigo Bentancur will not be available for the Lilywhites' Premier League clash with Leeds United on Saturday.
The Uruguay international fell awkwardly on the slippery turf in Wednesday's defeat to Burnley and was replaced by Harry Winks at half time at Turf Moor.
There are fears that Bentancur could now be set for a three-week spell on the sidelines, and Conte has now confirmed that the midfielder - as well as Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga - will all miss out.
Speaking to reporters at his pre-game press conference, Conte said: "Unfortunately he [Bentancur] is not available for tomorrow's game. He had a problem in his ankle. I don't think this is a serious problem. I hope to see him in the team very soon but for sure he's not available tomorrow.
"Skipp is now one month missing. Same with Tanganga. I don't want to put pressure on the medical department but for sure I need help with the situation."
Tottenham's fourth defeat in five matches leaves them in eighth position in the Premier League table - seven points off the Champions League spots with two games in hand.
