Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele is a January transfer target for big-spending Italians AC Milan, according to a report.
Despite being a key player for the Lilywhites, ambitious Milan are said to be confident of luring the Belgium international away from North London.
Dembele has been restricted to just 11 Premier League appearances this term due to an ankle problem, but is still seen as indispensable by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport suggests that the Rossoneri will test Tottenham's resolve with an offer later this month, however, as they are desperate for central midfield cover.
Franck Kessie has been a mainstay in Milan's midfield this term, featuring for a combined 1,666 minutes in Serie A - already more than he managed in the whole of 2016-17 with Atalanta BC.
