Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that it is "not impossible" that he could bring in some new players on transfer deadline day.
Spurs have made two signings already this window, having recruited Lewis Holtby from Schalke 04 as well as Zeki Fryers from Standard Liege.
While the Portuguese boss hinted at trying to add potential last-minute deals, he concedes that the North London outfit are unlikely to complete any signings.
When asked if anything could happen on deadline day, Villas-Boas responded: "No I don't think so. Obviously, it finishes tomorrow, thankfully. We looked to be quiet in the market.
"It's not impossible that a couple of things can happen, but it's highly unlikely.
"I think we need to add quality to the squad."
Spurs fought back to earn a 1-1 draw at Norwich City on Wednesday.
