A newspaper poll in Spain sees Gareth Bale top the list of players that Barcelona fans would most like to see at their club.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gareth Bale has been identified as the player that Barcelona fans would most like to see at their club in a newspaper poll.

The Welshman received 57% of the vote after El Mundo Deportivo had asked readers for their thoughts.

The Catalan club are already thought to be interested in signing the 22-year-old at the end of the season.

However, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has said that Bale is not for sale at any price.
