Corinthians have released a statement describing Paulinho's departure from the club as "imminent".
The Brazilian outfit claimed last week that Tottenham Hotspur have made an offer that would trigger the midfielder's release clause.
The team's president Mario Gobbi Filho said: "Besides the signings, we also suffered harassment of the top clubs in the world on some of our key players.
"We make every effort to keep them, but we have to evaluate the good proposals and understand the goals and aspirations of life of each of our athletes.
"With the imminent departure of Paulinho, we trust in other players who are being prepared for some time, as William and Edenilson, or even the newly hired Ibson."
The 24-year-old has said that he will make a decision on his future after the Confederations Cup.
