Everton are interested in signing Norwich City defender Max Aarons, according to a report.

With the transfer window just around the corner, a lot of teams are wanting to bolster their squads and Rafael Benitez is keeping his eye on a defensive signing.

The Toffees are one of several clubs hoping to sign Aarons, but Tottenham Hotspur and Roma are also looking at him, according to a report from Corriere Dello Sport.

The Canaries will be looking for a fee of £18m in order to sell the full-back, who has played all 17 of Norwich City's fixtures so far in the top flight.

The 21-year-old started his career with Luton Town, but he joined his current club back in 2016 when signing for the academy and since then he has made over 100 appearances.

Everton have conceded 29 goals so far this season, having won five matches as the club sit 14th in the Premier League table.
