Fulham are planning a move for Manchester City player Joleon Lescott, it has been claimed.
The Mirror reports that the Cottagers have notified City of their interest, but they face stiff competition to secure his signature.
Last week it was claimed that West Ham United were monitoring the defender, who could be available on loan until the end of the season.
However, Turkish club Besiktas, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are also said to be in the running.
Despite the rumours surrounding Lescott's future, Manuel Pellegrini recently said that he was a "very important player" for City.
