Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola reportedly has no problem parting ways with Gabriel Jesus in order to boost his side's chances of landing Harry Kane.
Kane - who opened his England account at Euro 2020 during Tuesday's last-16 win over Germany - has supposedly informed Tottenham Hotspur of his desire to leave the club this summer in search of silverware.
City are believed to have tabled an initial offer of £100m for the England captain but are supposedly prepared to walk away if Spurs chairman Daniel Levy stands firm on his £150m stance.
A potential part-exchange deal involving Jesus and Kane has been mooted, but Levy is not expected to consider such a proposal, leaving Man City in a position where funds may have to be raised elsewhere.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Jesus could instead be sold to Juventus as the Serie A side prepare for Cristiano Ronaldo's possible exit, and Guardiola will not stand in the Brazilian's way.
The 24-year-old has registered 82 goals and 34 assists in 195 appearances for City, but he was often left on the bench as Guardiola preferred a false nine during the Citizens' run to the 2020-21 Champions League final. body check tags ::
