Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has reportedly accepted that he is unlikely to secure a transfer to Manchester City this summer.

Having acknowledged that he is eager to win silverware as soon as possible, Kane is known to want a switch to the Etihad Stadium.

However, with the England international still having three years left on his contract, chairman Daniel Levy has refused to consider any bids below his £150m valuation.

City, who have found it difficult to hold any discussions with Levy, have allegedly only offered £75m with a further £25m coming in add-ons.

According to football.london, Kane is now ready to focus on life at Spurs, admitting that moving to City has become increasingly unlikely.

Having featured as a substitute against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the 28-year-old could now be used from the start against Pacos de Ferreira in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night. body check tags ::
