Christian Eriksen is reportedly unlikely to return to Tottenham Hotspur this month as Inter Milan are after a loan fee for the playmaker.
The Denmark international has been transfer listed by the Italian giants just a year after arriving from Spurs in a £17m deal.
Eriksen, who has struggled to find a place in Antonio Conte's setup, is rumoured to be wanted by Tottenham until the end of the campaign.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has told Sky Sports News that Inter are not prepared to let the 28-year-old temporarily leave unless they can recoup some of his fee.
With no clubs interested in a permanent deal, either, it is now expected that Eriksen will remain at San Siro until at least the summer.
The former Ajax midfielder has featured 14 times for Inter in all competitions this season, just six of those appearances being starts.
