Inter Milan are reportedly keen to secure a deal for Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen.
With the Belgian having less than four months remaining on his contract, his eight-year spell in North London is expected to come to an end in the summer.
Vertonghen, who turns 33 years of age in April, is currently able to hold discussions with foreign clubs ahead of a free transfer later in 2020.
According to Tuttosport, Inter are exploring the possibility of bringing the left-sided centre-back to San Siro.
Vertonghen is regarded as the perfect fit for Antonio Conte's three-man backline, while he could also provide backup at left wing-back if required.
Since leaving Ajax in 2012, Vertonghen has made 311 appearances in all competitions.
