Real Madrid are reportedly hopeful of wrapping up a deal to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale when they return from their pre-season tour of the United States.
The Wales international has been linked with a move to Spanish side throughout the summer and reports suggest that Madrid president Florentino Perez is determined to seal a world record £95m deal.
Madrid are looking to wrap up the move for the 24-year-old despite the best efforts of Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to keep the midfielder at the club.
A source told The Sun: "Bale is the chosen man. Efforts to sign him will continue. We are hopeful a deal can be done soon."
Madrid have reportedly offered Spurs both Angel di Maria and Fabio Coentrao along with substantial cash to get the deal over the line.
