Marco Asensio reportedly turned down offers from Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan in the summer transfer window as he is determined to fight for his Real Madrid future.
The Spain international has struggled to hold down a starting spot this term, featuring as a second-half substitute in Madrid's opening three La Liga matches.
Former Mallorca winger Asensio has spent the past seven years with Los Blancos, two of those out on loan, but Spanish outlet Marca claims that he was offered the chance to leave last month.
Tottenham and Milan are said to have made contact with the 25-year-old, with Spurs in particular eager to get him on board.
However, Asensio apparently rejected those advances as he wants to become a regular starter for Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti once fully over a knee injury.
The same report indicates that Ancelotti intends to use Asensio in a more central position, where the Spanish giants have fewer options.
