Roberto Martinez has said that he has been "delighted" with Aaron Lennon's loan spell at Everton in the second half of the current Premier League season.
The winger, who has made 13 appearances since moving to Goodison Park in January, will make his final appearance for the Toffees this afternoon, as he will not be eligible to play against parent club Tottenham Hotspur in the last fixture of the campaign.
The manager said at his pre-match press conference: "His loan period is as good as it gets. We brought him in to give us a boost and his performances have really done that.
"The loan period has been a real success and I am delighted we were able to bring him in."
Club captain Phil Jagielka has admitted that he would like to see Lennon return on a permanent deal next season.
