Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has refused to offer any guarantees when it comes to summer spending at the London club.
Spurs are yet to boost their squad ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, and only have a little over a week of the summer window left to secure new players.
Pochettino said last week that the club were "working hard trying to improve the squad", but the Argentine denied that Tottenham would be forced to make "rash decisions" as the transfer deadline looms.
The Tottenham head coach has now admitted that he is unsure whether new signings will arrive.
"I don't know if we are going to sign [anyone] or not. We're working on that. I cannot tell you if we're going to sign one, zero or two or three or four," Pochettino told reporters.
Tottenham will open their 2018-19 Premier League challenge against Newcastle United on August 11.
