Real Madrid are reportedly contemplating whether to activate the buy-back clause of Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon next summer.

Real Madrid may reportedly look to re-sign Sergio Reguilon next summer, providing that they can lower the buy-back clause of the Tottenham Hotspur defender.

With little chance of regular starts at the Bernabeu, the left-back was allowed to join Spurs 13 months ago with the expectation that he would establish himself as first choice in North London.

While the 24-year-old has not necessarily made a sustained impact in the Premier League, he has featured on 45 occasions in all competitions.

According to Defensa Central, Los Blancos are now contemplating re-signing the Spaniard during the summer transfer window.

Real will allegedly look to reduce the buy-back clause from €40m (34.01m) to €33m (£28.06m), a request which is unlikely to be accepted by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

The La Liga side can only activate the option in one of the next two transfer windows. body check tags ::
