Thomas Partey has been given the nod for Arsenal in their Premier League North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Ghana international made just his fifth top-flight start of the campaign in the 5-0 thrashing of Chelsea in midweek, putting in a strong shift during his 72 minutes on the field.
Thanks to his praiseworthy performance, Partey holds his spot at the base of the Arsenal midfield, as head coach Mikel Arteta names an unchanged team at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
As a result, Leandro Trossard continues in attack over Gabriel Martinelli, while Takehiro Tomiyasu will occupy the left-back position ahead of Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Meanwhile, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has made three alterations to the side that were destroyed 4-0 by Newcastle United two weekends ago, bringing in Ben Davies, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Dejan Kulusevski.
Brennan Johnson, Yves Bissouma and Destiny Udogie - who recently underwent a season-ending operation - make way, while Pedro Porro and Richarlison have also been passed fit, but the latter must make do with a place on the bench.
